No, ground meat does not taste weird because of salmonella. Salmonella is a type of bacteria that can be present in raw or undercooked meat, poultry, and eggs, but it does not affect the taste of the meat itself. The taste of ground meat can vary depending on the type of meat used, the fat content, seasonings, and cooking method, but it is not directly related to the presence of salmonella. It is important to cook ground meat thoroughly to kill any harmful bacteria, including salmonella, and ensure it is safe to eat. **
